Yijia Li
Class of 2026
"I grew up in an industrial community, where I started to explore working class’s history. After moving to Beijing for university, I found myself amongst friends who address social issues including labour rights, gender and sexuality equality, and itinerant children through intellectual pursuit and everyday practice. With the increasingly intense policing of Chinese universities and society, I have decided to continue my journey outside of my home country."
