"Having spent the last 4 years living in Japan and learning more about how important the US Japan alliance is, I would like to return back to my home country to study and eventually do work that involves strengthening our alliances. I think that is is critical for the US to work together with her allies to curb the rise of an authoritarian China. My career goal is to eventually work in a position where I can work along fellow Americans to advance US interests abroad."
