Rachel grew up overseas, moving between China, Thailand, and Vietnam. Prior to joining MASIA she was employed at The Asia Group (TAG), a geopolitical strategic consulting firm. Before working at TAG she had the opportunity to intern at the Wilson Center, Brookings Institution, The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation, and Center for Strategic and International Studies. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2022 with a major in International Relations. While at UPenn, she was a student fellow at Penn Global's Perry World House and was a member of the Women's Fencing Team.
