"I began my undergraduate studies with an interest in Mandarin Chinese, and decided to double-major in Global and International Studies and Chinese Language and Literature.The summer between my junior and senior years (Summer 2023), I studied abroad in Taipei, Taiwan, where I completed an internship at the National 228 Memorial Foundation. Through this experience, I became interested in the politics of the Taiwan Strait. I'm very excited to continue my research and education at Georgetown."
