Christina Durham
Class of 2023
"I hope that the MASIA program will help me figure out whether pursuing a PhD is really what I want to do after completing this degree. As of right now, I know that I love conducting research and contributing to the production of knowledge, but I also worry about the “Ivory Tower”/bubble that academia can be, and think it’s important to be a practitioner in order to address or solve important problems (like Korea-Japan relations). While I’m a bit unsure of which direction to take right now, I’m confident that Georgetown will help me figure out which path would be best for me, and support me once I make my decision."
