Caitlyn Phung

Caitlyn Phung is a Policy Advisor within the Office of Policy at the U.S. Agency for International Development. Since joining the USAID in 2022, she has supported the Front Office in various roles and is currently overseeing projects to address strategic competition. Before joining USAID, Ms. Phung represented the United States as a Youth Ambassador at the 2020 World Expo in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Her international experiences range from Egypt to Taiwan and South Korea. She also held positions at the Department of State, U.S. House of Representatives, and a Presidential Campaign. Ms. Phung is a graduate of The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Chinese Language and Literature.
