"As a second-generation Chinese American, I am profoundly shaped by both cultures, enabling me to grasp the political and societal differences, but more importantly, motivating me to seek common ground and serve as a bridge between the United States and China.
At Georgetown, I will study the security implications of China’s military capabilities and strategies in the region so that I can one day contribute my expertise to U.S. foreign policy decision-making in the Indo-Pacific."
