"After graduating college and working as a national security reporter, I became increasingly interested in understanding China’s rise and the ramifications for its neighbors, the United States, and the Chinese diaspora. At Georgetown, I plan to study U.S.-China policy and China’s relationship to India, hopefully laying the groundwork for more investigative journalism and, ultimately, a Ph.D."
