Salamata Bah
Class of 2024
"My interest in Asia all started with learning Korean. As I learned the language, I learned about its culture and history which piqued my curiosity about its society, politics, and economy. My interest in the Korean Peninsula pretty soon expanded to the wider East Asian region and its relationship with the U.S. Through Georgetown's education, I hope to become a regional expert on Asia and the Korean Peninsula with a high language ability. In my career, I hope to become an effective Diplomat that is able to use her regional expertise to facilitate relations between the U.S and Asia."
