“I seek to discover an area within Chinese studies to focus on for a PhD during my time at Georgetown. Additionally, I seek to exercise and acquire the 13 characteristics of a successful Foreign Service Officer (FSO) because I am a 2020 Pickering Fellow. My long-term academic goals include obtaining both a PhD and JD relating to international law with a focus on Chinese studies. I also aspire to master Mandarin for my career as an FSO.”
