Olivia Penick
Class of 2027
"I am a recent graduate from Cornell University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. Through my four years in college, I studied Japanese to an intermediate-advanced level and also learned about Japanese history and culture, both through classes and by meeting with language partners. The summer of my junior year of college, I spent two months in Kyoto at Dōshisha University through the KCJS Summer Program in Modern Japanese, where I studied Japanese intensively and learned to play the shakuhachi. I'm looking forward to further broadening my experience through the MASIA program at Georgetown!"
