"Through my internships and classes on security policy, maintaining effective deterrence in East Asia became a central interest of mine. Specifically, I have done research on airpower in a future Taiwan Strait Crisis and the application of emerging military technologies in the region. At Georgetown, I want to continue to research these topics within the context of security in Asia while continuing to improve my Japanese language skills."
