Junna Chang

Junna Chang is a second-year Master of Arts candidate in the Asian Studies program at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service (SFS). She is a Research Assistant at Templeton, Co-President of the Korea Policy Club at SFS, and a member of the Knowing North Korea 2026 cohort. She previously interned at Portman Square Group, a geopolitical risk and intelligence firm, and served as a Global Future Leaders Initiative intern for the inaugural Potomac Dialogue 2025, organized by the Center for Asia Pacific Strategy. She graduated magna cum laude from New York University in 2025 with a B.A. in Global Studies and minors in Peace & Conflict Studies and Global Education Studies. At NYU, she studied and conducted research in Abu Dhabi, Ghana, and South Korea and was a University Honors Scholar and four-year Dean’s List recipient. Her academic and research honors include the Boren Scholarship, Global Access Grant, Dean’s Circle Scholar recognition, and Most Outstanding Thesis Award for her research on North Korea.
