James Boehme

James Boehme graduated from Tufts University in 2021 with a B.A. in Political Science. As an undergraduate, James researched East Asian domestic politics and international relations, and his capstone essay “How to Scare a Giant: Resolve Signaling in South China Sea Maritime Disputes” was published by The Yale Review of International Studies (March 2020). Additionally, James served as an Educational Intern for the EastWest Institute’s East Asia Program (Summer-Winter 2020) After graduating, James moved to Seoul, South Korea, where he studied Korean at Yonsei University’s Korean Language Institute (Fall 2021-Spring 2023) and taught at an English language academy (Spring 2023-Winter 2025).
