Evan is a graduate student at Georgetown University pursuing an MA in Asian Studies. His primary research interests lie within Chinese environmental policy, focusing on implementation of water policy and provincial resource allocation. He has worked with several water-related NGOs in the past that have led initiatives in Asia, worked closely in educational circles in both the United States and abroad, and has published several papers on public participation and grassroots activism surrounding Chinese water policy in the past. With roots in Guangdong, China, he looks forward to continued opportunities to travel and conduct research in China and the broader East Asian region.
