Chris Baylor is a Research Associate for Asia-Pacific Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, where he focuses on Japanese domestic, foreign, and economic affairs. Previously, he worked as a news producer for TV Asahi in Washington, D.C., and volunteered as a translator at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He holds a B.A. in International Affairs and Asian Studies from Lafayette College and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Asian Studies at Georgetown University.
