Title: Tra Hoang (MASIA ’20) and Team Win 2020 Fletcher Political Risk Case Competition

On February 28,  Tra Hoang (MASIA ’20) along with Haris Fontaine (MSFS ’20) and Azim Wazeer (MAAS ’21) represented Georgetown University and the School of Foreign Service (SFS) at the 2020 Fletcher Political Risk Conference hosted by the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. In all, over 30 teams representing top International Relations and Business Schools from around the world entered the competition, more than 25 submitted final reports, and following a blind review process, the SFS team was selected as one of the three finalists to compete at the conference. For their final prompt, the group was tasked with providing a strategy to mitigate short to medium-term political risks for a U.S.-based business with interests in Vietnam. Congratulations to Tra and her team for their well-deserved win!
