Jonathan Corrado (MASIA '17) Places Second at 4th World Hallyu Congress

MASIA '17 student, Jonathan Corrado, presented his paper at the World Association for Hallyu Studies' 4th World Hallyu Congress at Oxford University. Student papers had to address the question, What is the “K” in K-Pop or What defines the “Han” in Hallyu?" Corrado's paper, "Mending fences on the 38th Parallel: Hallyu Helps Bridge the Cultural Divide," was awarded second place in the research paper competition. In late September, Corrado was invited to Oxford Universityto present his paper in person to the World Association for Hallyu Studies.
