Title: Dr. Michael Green Meets with Visiting Researchers

Dr. Michael Green, Director of the Asian Studies Program and Professor and Chair in Contemporary Japanese Politics and Foreign Policy, recently met with the current cohort of Asian Studies Program Visiting Researchers to discuss and support their ongoing research projects. Below is a list of the current visiting researchers, their affiliations, and their research areas:

Dr. Sung Jae Park, Korean Education Development Institute– Link between North Korea’s science and technology education system and nuclear and missile development policy

Ms. Hye Jeong Choi, Hankoryeh Media Group– Korea-U.S.-China cooperation on the North Korean security issue

Mr. Mooil Moon, Former Prosecutor General, Republic of Korea– Korean adoption of the Japanese criminal procedural system

Mr. Tae Hwa Kang, Joongang Ilbo– Situational changes in Northeast Asia if denuclearization is achieved and completed
