Donald S. Macdonald Prize Winner: Dayea Diana Park

Dayea Diana Park, SFS 09', won the 2009 Donald S. Macdonald Prize essay contest for her research paper entitled, "Arms for Energy: Insecurity as a Driving Force for South Korea's Weapons Exports." The prize is awarded to an undergraduate student who writes the best paper on a Korea related topic. The contest was established by the family of the late Professor Donald S. Macdonald, the founder of Korean Studies at Georgetown University.
